Meet the Joiner Behind the Work
With 36 years of experience in the joinery trade, I bring extensive knowledge, skill and craftsmanship to every project I undertake.
I began my career serving a four-year apprenticeship in a joinery workshop, where I learned the traditional skills and techniques of the trade. This gave me a strong foundation in craftsmanship, precision and attention to detail that has stayed with me throughout my career.
After completing my apprenticeship, I moved into site joinery, gaining experience across a wide variety of projects, including new-build homes, renovations, extensions and general joinery work.
For the past 9 years, I've been self-employed, running Christopher Evatt Joinery and providing customers with a professional, reliable and personal service.
I work mainly on my own, allowing me to offer a personal, hands-on approach to every project. From the initial quotation through to completion, customers deal directly with me, ensuring clear communication and consistent workmanship throughout.
Having worked in both workshop and site joinery, I bring a broad range of knowledge and practical experience to every job. I take great pride in my workmanship, attention to detail and ensuring every project is completed to a high standard.
